Statement of Purpose

True assessment does not lie in the maintenance of the established, but to think beyond the past and the present, to provide a clue for future development. This paradigm has always been the beacon in my life. This inspired me to do my masters in International Master Programme in Informatik/Distributed Software Systems (Master) inYour esteemed Darmstadt University of Technology. If you do a monotonous nine to five job the chances are that you would be working within a parameter.

My parents always drummed into me time and again the importance’s of studies and the boundaries one is able to cross when one has the knowledge to back up one’s convication. Based on this I have been able to channelizes my future step by step towards the goal I have set for Myself. My interest in applied science dates back to my school days. During high school, I was fascinated with electronic gadgets. Soon thereafter, designing and building basic circuits started as a hobby. Along the way, however, I realized that the problem-solving aspect of making electronic gadgets was what I enjoyed the most.

Engineering was a natural career choice after this. Keeping this background in view my parents and my sister (Master in Physics) have gently guided me towards achieving my goal. I have my mother’s tenanacity and my father’s thirst for knowledge to make me achieve the goals which I have set for myself. I also gained myself in producing projects from school level. Science and Mathematics fascinated me from my early school days. Being good in math in school, I found myself drawn towards subjects requiring a lot of analysis and logic.

Hence when it came to making a career decision, Engineering was an obvious choice for me My fascination for Computers and its application began to be realized way back as a student of “BASIC”. I then decided to pursue a career in this field. This decision was supported by my skills at programming. It was a sense of achievement that further reinforced my ambition to pursue computer science as a career. My urge for knowledge and an open mind for technology would be best exploited in the field of “Course Name” – Bachelor of Engineering.

I completed my Bachelor degree in University. And then I started my professional career. But I want to do Masters. Everyday I have thought of masters from esteemed university. But having lots of responsibilities on me, I decided to start my career. I am very much interested in data storage and data acquition system. I am always thinking of how can I decrease time to store data on medium and then access? Along the way the desire to specialize in computer science took shape and defined the route for me to follow so that I could achieve my goal.

I was fascinated looking at the technological development and I wanted to be a part of it. I have had extensive experience in the field of systems in my compilers, operating systems, digital systems, security, and networking classes. One constant throughout most of these courses was the importance of higher-level thinking As a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology, I look to graduate study to refine my knowledge and skills in my areas of interest.

I believe it will also serve to give direction to my goal of a career as a research professional at an academic or commercial, research-oriented organisation. I intend to pursue an MS Degree in order to reach that goal. I am sure that the MS programme at your esteemed Darmstadt University of Technology would be like a breath of fresh air to me. Hence, I sincerely hope that my application for M S Degree would meet with kind favour and enable me to achieve the goal I have set for myself. Name
